Internet on your Computer through China Phone

Hey, this one really works as I myself use it sometimes. Well China mobiles are quite cheap while offering you really good multimedia services.. but they usually don't have a PC Suite to connect your Computer to the Internet through these phones. Well, some people even say that GPRS won't work on their Internet capable China mobile.. but it ain't true..!
GPRS works on all phones that support Web Browsing..!

Setting up GPRS on your China phone:

- Mine is a BSNL SIM so I just type in a message "NOKIA 6111" and send it to "53733" an lo.. I receive the settings and I can browse the net from my JXD China mobile..! well, if this doesn't work for you then maybe you should manually put the settings.

- Once you can surf the net from your China phone, you can proceed with the next steps.

- No PC Suite available for my/your phone..!
Well, the 'MICROMAX' phone are similar to China phones and the best part is that their PC suite works for our China moblies..!

- I have this PC Suite.

- Connect your China mobile as a COM Port(Not as 'Mass Storage'), then check which COM port it uses.

- Open the PC Suite, Click on Settings tab.

- Click on Create Connection tab and press New / Modify button.
- Enter the required fields keeping Username and Password bland and Number as *99# and then click on New.

- Click on Create button and then in the Dial up tab click on the Dial up button.

- If everything is fine your Computer will be connected to the Internet. If any trouble then do comment on this post.
